So this post is going to be a bit shorter than most as it deals with a comment I get a lot when I'm out canvassing neighbourhoods. You can look out all around you and in seconds I'm sure you will find an ad for another Realtor. I see it day in and day out. And while I'm out talking to potential clients there is always the small few that throw out the remark, 'do you know how many of you there are?', and my answer is always 'yes, which is why when you need a Realtor, make sure you choose the right one'.
I say make sure you choose the right one because they're right. To date there is over 47,000+ Realtor members according to the Toronto Real Estate Board. Don't get me wrong, there are good agents out there (and I'll provide you with my info a bit later, wink, wink), but just as there are the good, there is also the bad. The agents that got into this business for the quick money, to subsidize their day jobs. The ones that believe a property just sells itself - that work to convince you that there big plan works all the time so that every client gets top dollar.
Do me favor, and be smart about who you allow to sell your home, or even who you allow to represent you when buying a home because apart from just the price, there are many difficult decisions that need to be made. And what you really want is the proper guidance to make the right decisions based on your best interests and not the agents.
So if you need any advice, or even a second opinion give me a call at 416-882-9535.(Told you I would provide you the info of a good agent)
